No. You may spray the pads around the outside of the Roller, with as many different kinds of scent as you like. Food scent attractants along with Doe in heat and Buck-in-rut scent are all good choices depending on what type of deer you want to attract.
We can recommend Tinks Scent Lure, Code Blue, Black Widow and Golden-Doe-Estrus scents. But there are many other brands and types are also good attractants.
